GroWise is a monthly children’s gardening class held at Estelle Playground through Jefferson Parish Parks & Recreation. Each session is $30 plus a $10 supply fee and runs for one month. Every month we explore a new hands-on topic, from planting seeds and studying plant science to making natural fertilizers and keeping a botany journal.

Classes are small, with a maximum of 10 kids, so each child gets personal attention. The supply fee covers items like gloves, soil, tools, and other materials that go right back into your child’s projects. Parents are always welcome to stay and learn alongside their kids.
